CEO/PRESIDENT

Pat Mulligan
VICE PRESIDENT / CTO / BDM
Patrick developed a passion for electronics shortly after high school when he enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as an ARSOF Satellite Communications Technician with A Company, 50th Signal Battalion (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, while supporting operations with the 3rd Special Forces Group (ODA331). During his eight years of military service, Patrick worked with mission-critical communications systems, overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and repair of multi-million-dollar equipment in support of operations around the world.
After completing his military service, Patrick earned a degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Technical Institute. He then returned to Maui and joined his brother, Phil, at Pacific Audio & Communications, where he helped lead the company's technical operations. His military experience, engineering background, and decades of hands-on industry expertise have made him a trusted leader in the design, integration, and support of advanced audio, video, communications, and automation systems.
With more than 30 years of electronics engineering experience — including over 20 years in the electronic systems industry — Patrick has built a reputation for technical expertise, leadership, and innovation. He holds numerous industry certifications and achievements, has participated in industry roundtable discussions, and has worked closely with manufacturers over the years to help shape products and solutions that better serve the evolving needs of the electronic systems industry. His mission-critical mindset and attention to detail continue to influence the way Pacific Audio & Communications approaches every project today.
Beyond his professional career, Patrick is deeply involved in the Hawaii and Maui communities. He currently serves as Chief of Staff and ground teams commander for the Hawaii Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. He is also the retired co-founder and former volunteer chairman of Kihei Fourth Friday, where he served for eight years, and currently remains active on its Board of Directors. Patrick also volunteers with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3850, supporting community cleanup efforts and local service projects.
Outside of work and volunteer service, Patrick enjoys spending time outdoors and in the ocean, whether swimming, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, or enjoying Maui’s active island lifestyle.

Pono Nauka
chief operations officer/Sales
Pono’s career began in 1997 in Arizona. There he learned multiple aspects of the consumer electronics industry while working on high-end residential projects. After a few years, the opportunity to move home to Hawai'i and his initial stint with Pacific Audio began. In the years that followed, Pono worked to master all aspects of the industry and has spent time in every role it has to offer, all the while, creating strong relationships with many in the design/build community. After helping several companies expand and become successful, he has found his way back to where it began for him in Hawai'i, with Pacific Audio. When not at work, Pono enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
